Thank you for your interest in our Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program.  Our program, which matches four Fellows per year, has been Accredited by the ACGME since July 1, 2003, and has become a premier program in Community Medicine with strong academic ties.   Our Fellows rotate through two Ascension hospitals, one suburban and one more urban setting.  We have had a long collaboration with Karmanos Cancer Center and our Fellows rotate there both for specialty clinics such as lung, breast, and genitourinary as well as inpatient and outpatient bone marrow transplant clinics.  Ascension itself has now acquired the ability to perform our own CAR-T on patients for lymphoma and myeloma within our facility which is a very rare phenomenon for a community hospital and allows patients to stay within the comfort of the hospital and doctors they have known.  We are proud of our record of achievement in training Fellows who have all secured positions in either Academia, both translational and clinical research, as well as in community hospitals and private practices.
